the-BA : Just some of the highlights of the BA Festival of Science

Each year the BA presents Europe's largest public Science Festival - the BA Festival of Science. In September 2008 we are pleased to be bringing the BA Festival of Science to Liverpool in partnership with the University of Liverpool, as part of the European Capital of Culture.

Through the Festival we aim to connect people of all types with scientists, engineers, technologists and social scientists both to celebrate the sheer excitement of the latest developments but also to engage in open discussion about issues that interest and concern large numbers of people about scientific advance. Typically the Festival hosts over 250 events, with over 300 of the world's leading scientists, social scientists, technologists, engineers and science communicators. The BA Festival of Science has the highest rates of press coverage of any UK science event.
